Running Bull And Gandering Goose

The chieftain of fine feathered headdress
Running Bull of the tribe Runamuck
Shared pipe of peace with Gandering Goose
Chieftain of the tribe Sitting Duck
We'll enter into a treaty
Says Running Bull of the Runamuck
Gandering Goose will be beloved
In the Land of the Sitting Duck

For many moons Sitting Duck thrived
In the Land of Runamuck law
Every brave a mighty hunter
A mighty steed for every squaw
Wigwams on Runamuck mortgage
Life was grand for Gandering Goose
Till the terrible Day of the Smoke
Signalled bandidos on the loose

Adios a mis amigos
Of the Land of the great Sitting Duck
Vayamos con Dios, mijitos
The bandidos are all Runamuck

Our wigwams kept us cool in the heat
Kept us dry in time of great rain
Till the Runamuck came and foreclosed us
With something called Eminent Domain
They brought in their Mighty Shovels
They dug with their oversized spades
Where our wigwams once stood so regal
There now stands a penny arcade

Running Bull speak with forked tongue
We now call him Slithering Snake
Gandering Goose got caught looking
Got his goose cooked for Runamuck's sake
Now all of the mighty children
Of the Lost Tribe of the great Sitting Duck
Spend all of their time at Penny Arcades
Shooting air guns at mechanical ducks

Adios a mis amigos
Of the Land of the Sitting Duck
Vayamos con Dios, mijitos
The bandidos are all Runamuck
