I had a rattlesnake dream last night
Woke me at a quarter to two
Just as it was ready to strike
Naturally, I thought of you
I was sweating and dizzy

St. Patrick, he ain't welcome here
In St. Cecilia's Infirmary

One-eyed blind outta my mind
Give me a tonic and toxin please
Woke with a venom hangover
Need some skin of the snake that bit me

Cute little mutts waggin their butts
Pretty as they pretty please
They say if you sleep with dogs
You gonna wake with fleas
I say if you sleep with pigs
You wake up with trichinosis
Sleep one night in a serpent's den
It's hallucinogenic psychosis

Once bitten, twice addicted
I'm takin' a psychotic break
I wanna feel the adder all rush
Bitten by that beautiful snake
Anaconda roads on rainy nights
