The Show

There's a whisper in the distance

There's a voice

There is life

There's a shadow there for instance

Struggling to keep its existence alive

For once its heart started beating

So quickly had it faded away

It began, I heard it moaning

I blinked, it was the end of its days

I watched life rapture here before me

The breath of life, no more

I'd attempt to capture what ought to be

but no man ever had before

Not even God himself was quick enough to outwit father time

Life of one man happened faster than a flash

as soon as the being hit its prime
