Silence

Sitting in silence
Trying to listen with my heart
Figuring out why my life was infected from the start.

An everyday battle to look in the mirror
It gets so cloudy
My reflection is unclear
No lights to find my way
I stand in the dark
Tears are running down my heart

Try to scream, only wind comes out
Is my brain or heart in doubt?
A constant fight whenever I’m alone
This is why I can’t sit in silence anymore.
