Sweet Nothings

He says, “I love you” after leaving tattooed scars. Tells you sweet nothings to your ears but his actions are short from his words. Those words that have traveled through my ears has given me not love, but deaf ears. I am deaf to the words you speak of and now sound does not travel through my ears as people speak to me.
