Mind deterioration

Could I have been a victim of a curse?
A spell from a malevolent wizard
Closing all my learning channels
Administering me to total failure
 
Did I curse God like Nebuchadnezzar?
Or blaspheming with Thy spirit
Dipping into wrath from an unforgiving deity
Opting to have me a fool than dead
 
Was it me who succeeded in primary?
And slept on my ears in secondary
Waffling in class tests and examinations
Ambling into the abyss of turning nuts?
 
Why me only to struggle with education
While others have a cushy job with it
Why does it have to deplete me of my energy?
Working for success that never turns up!
 
I am not ancient still
Though I have some trace of gray
It is very clear that am not senile
Then why does my mind deteriorate?
