The lucifer deception!

GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)

An effigy of a grotesque beast
With horns on the side cast
A picture of menace
With fear that ebbs away grace

Could the most cunning creature
With permission of God to snare
Crucify the people’s delight in him
With caricatures from whence no whim

What would you paint if asked
The devil’s face on board
Would you draw the ugliest being
That from the look has no feeling

Crafty as his rumors purport
Would he lack the thought
Creasing his image by fear
While people’s liking his care

Basing his physical on demeanor
He must be a likeable fellow
Bearing all the funny tidbits
Held by one who tells fibs

Beware of him!
