Today
Then has past, and the future hasn't come,
but now is always here for us.
Forget today's tomorrow,
so we can bask in the warmth of yesterday's sun.
Forget what it's like to be old,
so we can stand in the rain and feel young.
Forget all the times that I made you cry,
so we can share one last kiss before we die.
Forget being sad and hurt,
for not all lessons are easily learned.
Forget those that doubted your first dream,
Success comes with a passion that others can't see.
Forget falling down,
you got up without flapping a wing.
Forget the sound of a crying baby,
always remember his laugh.
Never forget those you love and miss,
they are here today, love them now before their missed.
