Rain

I thought I had forgotten u,
Thought u’d never be back in my head,
But the gloomy sky and damp climate
Brought u back as if the bitterness never existed.
Your memories as good as they r,
Cause Pain deep in my heart,
Your absence, which ik is a bliss,
Makes me crave for your existence in my life.
The fun and banter makes me sad
Our laughing makes me cry
Your absence which I never felt
Re-ignites that desperation in my mind.
Altho ik I dont hv any feelings for u,
Dk how these ones emerged,
They take me back in time,
When u we were curled up in each other.
Lazy afternoons we spent talking over the phone,
All we craved for back then was each others tone.
Carefree of the world against us, we moved forward together
Those memories accumulated in my head right now,
Make me wanna cry and long for u,
Can u be back?
Ik it is not possible,
Neither do I want it to be so,
For ik I hate u, despite these aroused feelings
Awoken frm deep slumber.
Ik not what I shud think of the brain,
Be in awe of its capability to store memories
Or loath on the same awe worthy ability.
Cause either way, your absent existence in my life,
Makes me gloomy and my heart pour down
Blind my eyes with flashes of your memories
And make them flood w/ rain.
Ik I dont want u, neither do I need u,
But these memories pouring down w/ d rain
Take me back to u.
