my little mermaid

Little Mermaid, pretty little mermaid.
Keep on swimming
 As fast as you can,
Splashing, diving  deep, deep,
Deeper and deeper,
Going far, as far as can be.

In the vast, sparkling, turquoise  seas,
 Dazzling beautifully,
Like the beautiful mermaid
That you are and little by little,
Will become over the years.

Keep on swimming fast,
      growing more and more,
In your mind, body and soul,
 Amongst the treasures and wonders
      Of this wonderful deep
Aquatic world of yours.

In the big ocean
Of constant learning and exploration
 Wonders and adventures
Good and bad, bitter and sweet
May you rise and shine
And aspire to so much more.

Learning and exploring
Tinkering  with what's on your fins
Those dramatic giggles  and talks
Cute unharmful pranks (oops, but they are always so funny)
But Loving and Caring  for us all
Our cheeky, funny mermaid.

Growing fast, so fast
(missing the baby and toddler years already)
Learning to  become the smart,  beautiful, Gracious mermaid
In this  magical ocean wonder.

In a  seashell,
 Be your true wonderful self,
     (with us on normal days)
   We love you so much,
    Our pretty little mermaid.

Be what you want to be, pretty, pretty baby.
