Citizens of nature

Would you believe it my friend
If I told you that we are visitors
Mere aliens in this beloved country
The land of nature?

Rock is the most eminent citizen
A resident whose castle is Strong
Sometimes he towers to the skies
And plants the Mountain flag

There is another resident here
Whose life is a bit shorter
But let that not fool you
She is always a softwood!

Water is very hard to miss sir
Since his presence is far and wide
He rushes and gushes in wrath
When he gets impeded by Mr. Rock

Air has the subtle eminence
Of being the most ubiquitous
Invisible to the naked eye
She crushes all in solemn gravity

Behold the citizens of nature
Whose generosity to humans
Is extending refugee status
To the temporary visitors
