Downfall of lucifer

The best of the angels once
With melodies sweeter than the birds’
The beauty he beheld
Was second to only God

When life becomes too good
People become reckless in deed
Without thinking who provided
Plenty of what makes them blind

And so there grew the stain
That saw Lucifer to the drain
Apprehended of heresy
Thus punished nay mercy

Cast to the bowels of the earth
To the abyss that doom comes forth
Condemned to an eternal suffering
To the ages beyond abounding

Oh! What fate!
