Dry thought!

GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)

The morning was awoken
Beholding panicken
The throat was dry
N' saliva I swallowed thy
 
The day severe with discomfit
Talks slurred by throat
The water a help for sometime
But only for periods of time
 
The evening parade attention a charade
Borne by the throat succumbed
The raising of the flag, flutter
Saliva swallows a mutter
 
The walk to the clinic a relief
Of getting healed a belief
Though a problem with my throat
Will I have a dry thought?
