Kid or kiddy, both like kidding

They are both kids, honestly
So don’t be so hard on them
Though sometimes your nerves they try
Still, I beg, be lenient on them

They are small and nimble
With strong and supple limbs
One prefers the fours throughout
The other after a time weans out

They cannot sit still
No matter how hard they try
They must move about and feel
In a jump prance and whoop!

To them everything is a toy
A source of endless delight
And every new discovery
A vein of priceless gems

Their memory is a perfect sieve
To all instructions against
Because they verily believe that
Everything under the sun is game!

They both like to practice the vocals
With whoops! Hurrays! and sundry bleats
Coz to them talking is a delight
A newfound magic in their new world!
