Analysis of Breathless
Ron VanHooser 1956 (Franklin County, MO)
When I feel you near, when you touch me softly,
I am breathless, pulled into a gentle, sensual dream.
When your voice tenderly echoes through my mind,
I feel you whispering deep things to my longing soul.
When I recall the joy in your eyes as we kiss,
I fall into that alluring warmth of your magic cravings.
When I sense your love filling my darkest void,
the pain eases from my heart and peace returns.
When I drift in the fantasy where your open arms await,
I enter an ecstatic realm, beyond imagination’s bounds.
When your satin fingertips caress my aroused body,
I’m enthralled inside rapture; mere words cannot express.
When our beings become one, immersed in passion’s hold,
I fly to the heavens of joy, reaching the pinnacle of bliss.
Whenever your soft image, impresses my soul’s vision,
I can’t describe the love that floods my heart.
I am breathless.
