Analysis of The book of Leonard

Uhunoma Leonard Iyahen 1986 (United States)

Like a book page
is turned unto the next page
So comes our  everyday.

Life for me is like the book of Leonard
With each passing deeds
Penned down as a ink writes down

As the stages progresses,
I ask aloud within, what qualities
Would the book of Leonard  possess?

If the book of Leonard do possess
Qualities refined and well defined
It begins while I breath.

If the book of Leonard is to be celebrated and elevated,
It begins now that I live.

If the book of Leonard is to make history, amidst mystery,
It begins now that I feel.

And when it all said and done
And life is on its last page
And the book of Leonard has nothing more to say.
Going back to the first page until the last page, in the book of Leonard is all that I would be remember for, I hope the memory be pleasant like honey to thee.
