Analysis of Fed up

Arpan Dey 2004 (West Bengal)

I have come away
Away from the world
An eerie silence
Surrounds me
Waves and waves
Everywhere
Violence of the sea
The endless sea
I am stuck
Forever
In the middle
With no link
With the human world
A strange satisfaction
I feel so good
I am all alone
With the sea
And looking down at me
Always from everywhere
Closer than ever before
Life and death
I feel so alive
Despite being so close
To death.
