Analysis of Yesterdays Walk! by Fred M. Lassonde
Yesterdays Walk! by Fred M. Lassonde
As I walked about our friendly City
I went by some beautiful Bushes and Trees
Down a path smelling flowers so pretty
Saw many a creature friend, Birds and Bees
This was during the day my yesterday
Well I walked throughout this peaceful place
Although the Birds talked in their own way
Serene, here things proceed at a pleasant pace
Now I may be biased in my love of home
Yet I am truthful as I write this here poem
To me there is no place like this here place
This lovely place where there is no rat race
Yes yesterday was a wonderful and quiet day
Not much at all going on as I walked along
The Birds and the Bees they were doing their thing
The Bees pollinate flowers and the Birds they do sing
There was one thing I noticed as I concluded my walk
It was getting late and all around there was nary a peep
All was silent as I looked up at the Outdoor Clock
That's when I noticed it was late, so I went home to sleep!
