Analysis of Yellow Shoes
Summer sand and hillside dirt,
Accumulating easily;
Climbing high in oak and pine tree,
Sitting only occasionally.
Wishes, many never granted,
Touching stars, sailing clouds,
Riding sunbeams, chasing raindrops,
Imagine out loud!
What would Saturday bring?
Would rings and chains be needed,
Swirly skirts and thigh-length tees,
Tams and scarves re-beaded.
Necklines plunge, arms are bare,
Appearances are neat,
Bejeweled combs, glittering bracelets,
Sunshine on my feet!
