Analysis of When Dreams...

When Dreams...
When dreams die  hope is lost
To the endless lies the sharp tongue whips out at us
When dreams die we are lost within our minds

When dreams are lost we crawl into a shell
Like a hermit crab waiting to find a new place
When dreams die so does our hopes fade

Our hopes fade as we let others rule our feelings
afraid to love to hope and dream for ourselves
We struggle to meet others expectations we can't meet

When dreams die and all hope is lost turn to me
For life is  not really meant to be lived alone
Be it with your mother father friends or lover cling to them

I know now when dreams die leave the hurt from your past
To move along to find your purpose in life
Be it through actions, words or the love of self

For there is nothing greater than to love yourself
Then when dreams die it will only be in your dreams
For then and only then you'll learn to keep your hopes and dream alive
