Analysis of We are the misfits

We're the generation of heartbreaks and defeat
The generation of depression and misery
We are the crazies, the mentally ill, and the psychos
We are the nutty, the wacky and the delirious
We are the failures and the disappointments
We are the mistakes and the accidents
We act but never the right way
We do but never the right thing
We say but never the right words
We achieve but never the right goals
We work hard but never on what we're told
And we befriend but never the right people
We grab a marker and draw on a smile hoping it doesn't fade away by the end of the day
We go home and don't have to wipe it off, our tears does it for us
We laugh at her because she has a black eye
But little do we know that her father is an abusive alcoholic
We laugh at him because he's weak
But every time he tried standing up for himself, he was pushed to the ground.
We are judged so much we start believing what we hear
We are told who we are that we start forgetting who we were.
We are the disrupters the destroyers
The distraction and the nuisance
 We are the misfits.
