Analysis of Underneath the Mistletoe
Hanging in the doorway
Is some mistletoe
How I doth wish
You and I walk under
At the same time
For then you would lean over
And kiss me ever so tenderly
That is the way the tradition is
So that is what you'd do
I do love you but I can not bear
To try to tell you how I feel
About me and you
I should be able to tell you
But I am much to scared
I am a fool
For though I love you
We could not be together
You have friends
Who would ridicule you
I have friends like that too
So I will just sit here
And daydream about
You and Me
While I stand alone
Underneath the mistletoe
