Analysis of The Silent War
It starts with shadows emerging
Inside
In my mind
This is what I find
As it converts me into a breeding box
For evil moths
That flapper and sloths
Their way through my old rusty cogs
With lies and murmurs
I can’t explain
The pain it engraves
Into my brain
Battling in the fragmented remains
On a deep engraved decaying frame
As this darkness progressively deceives me
With enchanting whispers
That feeds me
Crushing a hollow mold
Of a man
That use to see the world
Through eyes now dark
And somber
As it wonders this plane
No longer
With empty shoes
Of what use to be
A child so free
And full of life
That now imprisons me
I cannot explain
This light that shines
To slowly crack
The darkness that blinds
A hollow shell I use to be
Now filled with light that sets me free
If only this feeling can remain
As I close my eyes
And pray away this pain
To forgive once more
What has been forgiven before
I open my eyes
With the birth of the sun
To find myself again
On the run
From the darkness
That has already begun
As a giant war
Inside my mind
Emerges behind the
Sun that shines
Its light so dull
With only whispers
That fills with darkness
That hurts and blisters
As cries are heard
From beyond this frame
That cracks
And murmurs
Till nothing remains
But a hollow and empty shell of stone
That use to be some skin and bone
Of a living man
Now on the run
Resting his temple on his gun
So stay a while and witness the fun
