Analysis of The Lone Wolf

The wolf runs and howls
Yet no one answers
Visions go through his head
The men with guns
Shooting his pack
Killing all but him
He is the lone wolf now
He has lost his way
He is just a pup, who survived the guns
He whimpers and howls and growls
And not a soul hears his cry
His plea for help
It didn't have to be this way
If men were not so full of greed
They want the fur so soft and warm
But do they know
About the wolf
So alone, so mournful
Do they even care
Do they even think about
What they do to the strong bonds
That all wolf packs share
They kill families,
Separate them
And always, A lone wolf is left
Lost with no direction
Trying to survive
Most will die, yet not all
Some will be strong, Some weak
It is survival of the fittest
And no one helps these wolves
No one really cares
We go on with our regular lives
Not thinking about them
Blocking it out
Well block it out no longer
Think about it
Help the lone, lost souls
To find another life
