Analysis of The Attraction

From her glossy luscious lips to her flowing long hair
She has voluptuous curves that I can not bare
Her body is purely flawless in every strand
Looking at her gorgeous appearance is similar to being stuck in
quicksand
It pulls me in until I'm breathless
So even taking a glimpse of her is like making a death wish
As she walks by
She just says Hi
Then my hormones overdoses off her sex appeal
And it rests in peace as it lies
I have seen her in the past, but will I see her again
If I can't live good with her, then I would rather live without her in
sin

Everyone around me recognizes how uncontrollably I am breathing
It feels like time is standing still as she is now leaving
Against all odds and squaring up with all the evens
My chances has just been pronounced dead,
You can hear my emotions grieving
Can this attraction really ensure me satisfaction
By me using my mouth, would this have given me the benefit of the doubt
The gift of gab
A license to brag
To gain her mind and her body and whatever else I would want to have
Then I realized that this is all nothing but a game
So I grew tired of being the slow driver and staying in my own lane
I sped up to a top score and recognized what is there to gain
Then I walked up to her and asked her for her name

Tylee Martin

This is Tylee and I want to apologize for my egotistic behavior. Everyone on this site is extremely talented and I don't have the right to say that I'm better than anyone. No matter how good you are there is always someone better.A few of you seemed mighty upset because of my over confidence and I have learned from my mistakes. Im still going to write confident poems but Im am going to just watch how I do it.I guess I just wanted to be good like everyone on this site. more…
