Analysis of The Ache In My Heart
Today you left my heart in sea state five,
You cannot know the tumult wrought
by the pain of your parting shot,
I know not if I can survive
this emotional earthquake's aftershock,
For as of now my wounds are raw,
for every ounce of love from me you did draw,
This moment's still-Miss Havisham's clock.
I tremble at the thought of ever
letting you into my heart again,
With my heart gored through and through,
It was bittersweet to be loved by you,
Was it love?It often mirrored pain.
For all that time I did endure
on your account-of breathless palpitation
I hopefully pray for sure salvation
that one day you'll love me true-a miracle cure?
