Analysis of Take Back My Yesterdays

If I could take back my yesterdays,
There would be no mistakes made any days.
Then my love for you would be just as strong,
Like nothing ever went wrong.
But I know we can heal from this,
And even return to our oasis.
Please believe me when I say,
Everything will turn out okay.
You are my true love,
We were brought together by the One up above.
I know this is fate,
And I'm so thankful you asked me out on that first date.
Even though things have been hard,
We should just look forward.
Our love is true,
And with it, it will see us through.
