Analysis of Suddenly
Sitting looking to the distance
a dragonfly skips on still water
My weary back resting
against a sycamore tree...
I think of days long gone.
I longingly look at this mark
one that says you love me
Not feeling content so now
watching that dragonfly play
a new sorrow passes over me
If you my love were here today.
Suddenly a cloud weeps It's rain
every drop a brand new thought
never enough for words ... I'm sorry
why we fought is beyond me
suddenly a trout leaps...
dragonfly is gone ...my heart stops.
Twas dusk ...now It's dawn
I sleep in a bed of memories
Still I feel sad ...I think of your smile
now your beauty sleeps within me
those were merely days I once had.
