Analysis of Stanley Bay

Let's go back to days of yore,
Sample the atmosphere of what was before,'
Take off years and then look across,
Gone the periods of trees and moss.

Now it's cities with buildings tall,
A massive bridge with traffic and all,
Thousands of people travelling back and forth,
Both now mingle the south and north.

Down the beach walk by the sea,
Could be anyone either you or me,
Take the time and appreciate your worth,
Salt in sea and also of earth.

This little haven here on the Shore,
Still retains it's beauty with houses galore,
There's a quaintness about this place,
Old with new retaining style and grace.

Behind the hedge a croquet court,
How much pleasure that green had brought,
One of many with an established green,
Many a sight right there was seen.

Close to Devonport a town of size,
Now it's bigger than most realise,
All this area has a marvellous view,
And a park where there's plenty to do.
