Analysis of Skates N Fate
Skateboards and roller skates
riding waves in days to motion
The wheels to clocks
turning us back to when
we were young growing up,
racing the wind,
raised in sunny days
under sun rays
Her on roller skates
Me surfing a skateboard
One foot pushing forward
away from boredom
us sort of meeting in the middle
Crashing skates creating scars
making the stars fall
Skateboards and roller skates
rolling, controlling the world
Wheels stealing loneliness
I'd do tricks on my board
showing off
You'd challenge me to
ride your skates but,
I'd always lose my balance
Similar to how I feel now
falling in love
Skateboards and roller skates
envisioning our past
Thank God for the fact that
we had to crash into one another
in a total collision of our hearts
Riding skates to escape the universe...
