Analysis of Religion

If life decided to rid you of choice
And rid you of your freedom of voice
Attach you to strings, control every move
And make you a puppet to follow the groove
And the whole world round it was always the same
Would you find yourself willing to play that game

Or would you make a change - stand up and fight
To make your own choices and do what is right
Fuck being the same, that's like living in hell
For it's the fact that we're different gives us stories to tell
Which is why I find it ironic when comparing this to religion
Always telling you what it is you need to believe in

With one you get pleasure - 72 virgins
Another, multiple wives is no sin
Another sex just for fun is considered a blasphemy
Another sex before marriage and you burn for eternity
Another just confess all your sins and they're gone
Confessing your sins you're forgiven for all you've done wrong

Another must prey everyday to the east
Another there's Satyr, a weekly feast
Believe in my god for my god is real
Believe in their god it's the devil you deal
So many to choose from but only ONE can be right?
If you truly believe that you must not be bright

For despite how they differ in the end they're the same
For they each in the end give him the same name
Created by man to gain power and fame
And control of its people, to calm them - to tame
And though a higher power may exist
Religion is false and thats the twist

And to believe in one is to believe in them all
So stop all waring before our world falls
For we all believe in a higher power
So agree to disagree in this final hour
Don't look at the difference... just look at the same
And you'll notice religion is not but a game

So you better pick the right one for only ONE can be true...
But which one could it be... How bout NONE, get a clue.
