Analysis of Painter's Work
Painter's Work
To sink deep within his soul and swim amongst many hearts,
That venture in a past that hides a renaissance man of art,
To sketch in charcoal feelings brushed within works of pain,
Devoid of torment for his art, there would be no painter's gain.
Forgetting the artistry, hidden deep within his aching soul,
He looks for a spectrum of shades reflecting through a crystal bowl,
Where one stroke of color upon a backdrop of lush, deep green
Highlights on a canvas, beyond a sparkling, blue country stream.
There stills of a painter's vision draw an angel in his nightly dream,
Leaving fresh paint running from a face, in textures of blended cream,
Not knowing the dye cast in multi shades is from his painter's brush,
Where the artist's heart for his work has given him a painter's rush.
