Analysis of Overlooking the Peaceful, Green Pasture on the Farm

As the trill of warblers mingle with
the dusty sunrays of early morn,
the horses paw the grassy yard
of their approach to the rest of the world.

The master sips upon anise as he awakes
to the colors of the unknown,
and embattled patriots die slowly
just beyond the ridge of daily life,
lying in tall grass,
wetting their faces with the dew.
