Analysis of Once More
Once More
Put your head upon my shoulder once again.
Do not worry my precious when it pours rain.
Yes, I know our last time is coming very near.
While my love for you will always be sincere.
Rest your eyes and think of what life could be.
For the wonderful times we had, you and me.
Bear in mind my heart will always be for you.
In a growing love that never once was untrue.
Your smile and rosy cheeks I will forever miss.
Just promise from your sweet lips one more kiss.
Keep your head upon my shoulder my darling girl.
So I may sniff the scented fragrance from each curl.
As the wings of heaven's angels carry me into the sky.
I must ask you not to mourn me forever when I die.
I shall fly with them to God's resting offerings of peace.
For all the earthly things I once had, I must now release.
