Analysis of Old Habits
While I kept her at a distance
It was easy to forget
Just how much she means to me
And how much I regret
Five long years have rolled away
On my solitary path
Now she's come back into my life
My heart has done the math
Love's embers are still glowing
Deep within this heart of mine
She's awakened feelings long thought gone
But she's no longer mine
Her touch can still excite me
Her smile enflames my heart
Her blue eyes drill into my soul
And tear me all apart
I can not see the future
There are obstacles galore
Yet I know, today I love her
Tomorrow, I'll love her more
