Analysis of Oasis
A fossil aquifer
Fissures into moment.
Restoring lonely
Sand-bitten wonderers.
Camp-fire faces flicker
Against a silent darkness.
Stars shoot mystery
Across the great expanse
Reflected in Indian black water
That bleeds into
The depth and color of man.
