Analysis of MY PUPPY, NO MINE (Poem #249)
A cute little puppy was running up and down the street
When two little brothers came running out to meet.
I saw him first the younger boy started to shout;
But, I'm the older one the other boy said with clout.
I can feed him and walk him the younger seemed to beg,
As the litle puppy in his excitement went (oops) on his leg.
Then the boys laughing both soon agreed.
It may take two little boys to fill this little dog's need.
