Analysis of My Father

My Father whose name that I am scared to say
My Father whose clouds rain on my sunny day
My Father the gardener
Who climbed on top of that woman and planted seeds in my mother
Though not with my mother gave me many other sisters and brothers
Having a son does that make you a man He claimed my mother as his territory and land
My Father the man who served up to 2-8 With his bad attitude probably got raped over by men
And probably came out with Aids,
A plague that could affect ya’ll women
I will not have it, I will not allow it
My Father who ran the streets with his clan
This portion of a man
On this planet my father is in the wrong place
I thought I would never see the day that God made a mistake
To put him on this earth
To whom his mother, my grandmother gave birth
My father don’t even respect her, what is this some kind of curse
This so called Muslim, who smokes reef, packs heat, dead beat
Don’t even care if his kids got food to eat
My father that I share my nose, eyes, and face
Unlike him I will respect a woman’s presence and grace
If tears start to fall please don’t be surprised
As I discuss this creature that I despise
He is not worth the spit that I spit, the piss that I piss
The trash that I lift,
He is just another target that I missed
I hope he catch 3rd degrees, Even stopped paying my boxing fees
I want to know why he don’t want me
My Father is as stale as he is fresh
I pray upon his death
The day that maggots will rise upon his flesh
This man couldn’t even give me a call on his cell
He couldn’t even send me a letter in the mail
If he was blinded from reality then he could have written in brail
I wanted this to work, a father/son relationship is what I yearned
Inside the fire in my heart is where I want him to burn
All my Promises I made I kept
To all women
I promise I meet your daughter I will treat her with the up most respect

Tylee Martin

This is Tylee and I want to apologize for my egotistic behavior. Everyone on this site is extremely talented and I don't have the right to say that I'm better than anyone. No matter how good you are there is always someone better.A few of you seemed mighty upset because of my over confidence and I have learned from my mistakes. Im still going to write confident poems but Im am going to just watch how I do it.I guess I just wanted to be good like everyone on this site. more…
