Analysis of Just
Anny McNeilus 1982 (Minnesota)
Just breathe in and breathe out-
Try to resist the urge to shout.
Unable to see through the curtains of fog...
Move carefully, tread light, do not become swallowed into the bog.
Allow all thoughts to leave your mind.
Now hypnotized, you are in a trance, inside of you there is nothing left to find...
Your tears and hurt have left you now...
The audience claps, now take a bow.
Empty inside, feeling nothing.
No baggage left, no sadness left to bring...
Are you enjoying feeling no pain?
Perhaps, if you could think-you might wonder... If I am insane...
