Analysis of I'm Right Here Pt. 2

This isn't really a poem, more of a short story.

I hear Valentina walk into our parents' room. "Where is Valeria?"
"We don't know, sweetheart." My dad replied.
I ran up the stairs and busted in the room. "I'm right here, can't you hear me!" No one moved a muscle. It's like I'm here, but not here. Why can't they hear or see me? This is insane. Is this some sort of a sick joke? I'm standing in the door way, then I hear a knock on the front door. My mom walked right through me to go open the door. But wait, my mom walked right through me.

She opens the door, and I see two policemen standing there. "Good morning, are you Mrs. Novello?" "Yes I am, please come in. Vin, the police are here!" My dad also walks right through me and goes downstairs. Valentina follows, then I follow her. We're all sitting in the living room.
"Okay, now that we're all here. I'm Detective Moore and this is my partner Detective Brooke and we will be working your case. We would like to ask you all some questions."
"I'm Gina, and this is my husband Vinny and our youngest daughter Valentina."
"Okay, Mr. and Mrs. Novello, where did Valeria tell you she was going before she left?" Detective Brooke asked.
"She said she was going to her friend, Ashleigh's house." My mom answered.
I didn't go to Ashleigh's house. I wanted to see my boyfriend, Justin, so he picked me up from the park down the road.
"Where does Ashleigh live?" Detective Moore asked.
"I'll go get Ashleigh's contact information." Valentina went upstairs to the office to get it.
"What time did you ask your daughter to come home?" The detective asked.
"10 p.m." My dad responded.
