Analysis of Having Met Heroes

I sat in the truck of a flying tiger
It was a cold, yellow Ford
The tiger wasn't yellow
He was old

I have tried, but given up remembering
The heroes name. I just can't
But there was a great impact
Just the same

I wish I could say, we discussed his
 flying
It was a short encounter
Not imaginary, we
Really did

The company of heroes is overwhelming
I have met a Rough Rider
A moment to remember
I still do

I had become tremendously excited
No person ever did this
No individual had
Ever, yet

His individualism, replete with
A determined spirit, could
Overcome one's, too meek
Easily

Thanks for the ride, opening the
 experience
Heroes really do exist
My life consists of these things
Quite often

Something that, if I had a little child, I
Would surely tell them, about
It was simply fulfilling
Heroes are
