Analysis of Growing Distance

The welts became redder
The scars became deeper
The blood flowed harder
And the pain got stronger

Know I have to be stronger
Know I got to get through
So I held my head up high

Acted as If everything was fine
Acted as if it didn't bother me
But it killed me inside

Hate being away from you
Hate as the distance between us grow

Hope we survive this
Hope we get through
Don't know what's going to happen this time

How can I fix this?
What can I do?

Praying for the best
Expecting the worst
