Analysis of God's Masterpiece
The sky's canvas is expertly spread
And I stand and watch in awe
As God begins to paint and draw
Upon the clouds widespread.
Drops of violet melt into shades of red,
Dark orange is splashed about,
Abstract shapes of blue sky are scattered throughout
And all is tied together with a golden thread.
God has painted another masterpiece just for us,
Glorious and magnificent art,
A beautiful gift to all mankind.
This I believe with all my heart,
Just as the rainbow represents a promise, thus
The sunset reminds me we are always on his mind.
