Analysis of Fly Among the Stars
Ron VanHooser 1956 (Franklin County, MO)
Come, ride with me along the Milky Way.
Hold my hand fast-- my lover wild.
Jump moonbeams and catch the falling stars;
View the world from a dream catcher's eye.
Let us bathe in the light of the Aurora Borealis.
Lift each other to the heights of Orion.
We can see eternity from a stargazer's high,
Then slide down the paths of forked lightning.
Watch the dazzling sunset in liquid gold.
Sing with angels in an electric blue sky.
Sit astride the tails of passing comets.
Come fly with me-- my lover wild.
