Analysis of Final Fall
I would leave here tomorrow
Break the chains that bind me
Holding me like the crone's claws
Always testing the fatted flesh
Pinching and poking the life of me.
Cursed by this survivor world
It's base-line existence of pains
Tender feet walking broken glass trails
Path marked by blood and tear's ichor
Pleasures derived from brother victim's cries.
Left with only a promise, wisps
To succor pain in the next, emptiness
Condemned to stick it out, past usefulness
Never able to make sense or understand
Why our fate is not our own to complete?
Fear is the reward for the faithful
Caste over each mother's child
Uncertain future's grip the threads
Binding us to one another, searchers
For our final fall back to the beginning.
