Analysis of Eye Drops
I woke up this morning, reaching for my
eye drops, they were like coffee to my eyes.
Struggling with the sheets, I arose from my
warm bed to set in front of my computer.
Waiting for the screen to appear, I cleared
the desk of any loose papers of notes made
from last night.
I was thinking something clever to write,
but my thought processes are just a little
light. Here we go; the screen is up as I type
these words of thoughts, be sure to capture
them down on paper before you commit them to
memory, for as the years add up, you start to
forget what you were thinking the day before.
So let's for go the day without a verse I
remembered last night, cause to tell you the
truth, I just want to go back to sleep.
