Analysis of Catharsis

Beaten, battered, the defeated child lies.
Roadkill festers by his head in the street,
yet he does not seem to care.
Emblazoned upon his body are scars forged from false alibis;
He is tenderized flesh meat,
His father, the butcher and betrayer.

Committed to Adam, despiteful of Eve,
Our only goal is to deceive:
A suit defines no more character than a cardboard box,
No differiation between the scholar and the brain dead lummox.
It remains hidden within the Jahari, blind to all but he;
We cannot see, we merely follow.

Years pass, flash-forward, the child is no more,
A monstrosity stands erect in his place.
Belt of leather raised in hand and daughter's hair in the other,
"How dare you take that tone with me, ungrateful whore,
Discipline is best taught below the waist,
there is no respect for humanity these days."

Beaten, battered, the defeated child lies.
Roadkill festers by her head in the street,
yet she does not seem to care,
Emblazoned upon her body are scars forged from false alibis;
She is tenderized flesh meat,
Her father, the butcher and betrayer.
