Analysis of Call It God

When it's beyond wonder
When it makes us awed
When it's without blunder
Then we call it God

When it's beyond reason
When it makes us prod
When it's garden season
Then we call it God

When it's beyond magic
When it makes us laud
When it's wholly tragic
Then we call it God

When it's beyond glory
When it makes us nod
When it's legend-story
Then we call it God

When it's beyond seizing
When it makes us plod
When it's truly pleasing
Then we call it God

When it's beyond clever
When it makes us odd
When it's "time" forever
Then we call it God
