Analysis of Broken
I am completely broken, from inside to out
Completely empty, except for mounting doubt
Heart aching, soul battered and bruised
Feeling nothing more than used.
Ripped from inside, I feel the hole
No longer beating, mounted upon a pole
Bleeding and dying, living no more
While everything else is waging a war.
Betrayal, untruths, right to my face
When it happens, there's no time to brace
But pushing ahead, face to the sun
To get away from it all, only if I could run.
