Analysis of Black and White

You never had a choice
You get carried by the wind
Because the streets where you grew up
 Forced a life of compromise
So what's clear as black and white
 Appears gray before your eyes

And so your soft erotic look
As you undressed by the moonlight
 Was neither bad or good
 Was neither wrong or right

I worked harder than most
I've lived a life of sacrifice
 And what most considered luck
I've known as God's own hand
So it was clear as black and white
That even this was in His plan

And I fought against God's voice
Because I knew He'd forgive me
And when put before His test
 I failed preemptively

Your husband was my friend
 And you were his treasure
 Still, we betrayed without regret
As we hid by the shadows
And it is clear as black and white
 The innocent fill the gallows

And these eyes with wild passion
And these hands that cup your breasts
And this heart that serves its God
 They're all evil without depth
For these eyes see only red
These hands are drenched in blood
And this heart hungers for flesh
All in the name of love…Love?
